The fine print, plain English.

Entries are open from June 3, 2026 until September 30, 2026 at 23:59 Indochina Time (UTC+7). Any entries after the cutoff are out.

Two free steps, no purchase necessary:

2. Join the newsletter at tibodenz.com and confirm your email.

Being on both lists when entries close makes you eligible, but it does not win a printer on its own. About a week before the close I email everyone asking what they would build with it, and your answer is what decides the winners. See Winner selection below. One story per person.

Two winners, and each one gets the same thing: a Bambu Lab A1 mini 3D printer. Two makers, two printers.

Approximate combined retail value: USD $600 (two units). The printers are non-transferable, no cash equivalent, no substitutions.

This is a judged contest, not a random draw. About a week before entries close, I'll email everyone on the list one question: what would you build with the printer, and why does it matter to you?

After the cutoff I read every reply and choose the two stories that resonate most with me. Winners are picked on the strength of their answer, at my own judgment.

Winners will be contacted at the email address they used to subscribe to the newsletter, within 7 days of being chosen. Winners then have 7 days from the notification email to reply with a confirmed shipping address. If a winner doesn't reply in that window, the prize goes to the next story in line, and so on.

Prizes ship internationally wherever they can legally and reasonably be sent. Shipping costs are on me. Any import duties, customs fees, or local taxes on the receiving end are the winner's responsibility.

If something unforeseeable forces a change (lost prize, legal issue, life event), I reserve the right to update these rules or, worst case, cancel the giveaway. Any change will be posted on this page and announced through the newsletter.
