Welcome to Tibo Denz

A short intro to who I am, what this site is for, and what's actually going on here.

Hey, I'm Tibo. French, 36, living in Phuket, Thailand with my Thai wife and our five year old son. I run a software consulting business, an AI and dev education brand called Devmystify, and a YouTube channel where I learn things I have no business learning and build things I have no business building.

A while back I decided to try YouTube. The idea was simple. Document myself learning new skills and taking on challenges that were just slightly outside what I thought I could do. No plan, no niche strategy, no idea what I was doing.

That part hasn't really changed.

What has changed is everything else. I've picked up video editing, woodworking, CAD modeling, basic electronics, and oil painting. Not because I needed to, but because I set myself a challenge that required it and had no choice but to figure it out. I've built LED furniture, a workbench I'm genuinely proud of, and a 3D printing farm inside my wife's art studio. I weaponized my ADHD by accepting that my brain doesn't work like a normal person's and building a life around it instead of against it. YouTube gamified everything for me. Every video is a quest. Every challenge is an achievement I can point at and say: that exists now because I decided it would.

Right now I'm in the middle of the biggest one yet. A five-month, very public commitment to build a $1,500 3D-printed motorized Iron Man suit and lose 40 pounds (around 19 kg, from 91 kg down to 72 kg) so I actually fit inside it. The deadline is June 17, 2026. The current numbers and where I am on the timeline live on the home page. The longer story version of each chapter lives on this blog. The behind-the-scenes things I'm too embarrassed to put in the videos go out in the newsletter.

After Iron Man, the plan is a Spiderman arc. Calisthenics, a lean bulk, climbing training, another suit. Then probably a Captain America arc tied to a marathon. Then probably more things I have no business doing.

This website is home base. Videos. Blog. Newsletter. No spam. No performance. Just me, improving my life through crazy challenges and documenting all of it honestly, including the parts that go wrong.

Welcome.
